Book Rescue Service

Offering a useful book repair service for tattered treasures in need of some TLC. Tamsin has experience and skills with paper, board and fabric to make useful book repairs.

Specialising in helping books that have more sentimental and practical value than monetary value. Tamsin enjoys getting to know distressed books and finding practical solutions to help restore them to a stable and useable condition. If you have a damaged or worn-out book that means a lot to you and you would like to be able to enjoy it again, please feel welcome to get in touch.

I am currently fully booked with various projects so I am NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING commissions for repairs.

I am often asked for a rough estimate of fees which is difficult to give without assessing the book in question.

For guidance, my minimum fee is £50, a simple re-backing for a hardcover book starts at £120 with any paper repairs and/or re-sewing attracting additional fees.
